SS321 (321) stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel with the following main features:
Corrosion resistance
Contains titanium (Ti), which effectively controls the formation of chromium carbide and significantly improves the resistance to intergranular corrosion at high temperatures, especially in oxidizing media.
High temperature performance
High temperature strength and creep resistance are better than 304 stainless steel. It can maintain stable performance in the temperature range of 425-815°C and is suitable for high temperature equipment (such as oil refining equipment and heat treatment furnace parts).
Processing characteristics
Good cold and hot processing performance, heat treatment temperature range of 900-1150°C, no solution treatment is required after welding (if annealing is not possible).
