316 stainless steel wire rods

316 stainless steel wire rod has good corrosion resistance, and the high content of nickel and molybdenum enables it to resist the effects of corrosion and oxidation. It can maintain good stability in a variety of environments, especially when handling substances that may contain acid and alkali components, such as when occasionally exposed to acidic condiments such as vinegar and soy sauce in scenes such as the kitchen. It can also resist corrosion well and extend its service life. It has high strength and good durability, and can withstand stress under certain pressure, high temperature and other conditions. For example, even if it expands and contracts frequently during heating, it is not easy to deform and damage. It can work stably under the pressure environment of normal use, ensuring the safety and stability of the equipment.

316 stainless steel wire rod is an austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum. Its characteristics are:

Corrosion resistance: 316 stainless steel wire rod has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, and has good corrosion resistance in the production process of pulp and paper. Moreover, 316 stainless steel is also resistant to erosion by marine and corrosive industrial atmospheres.

Heat resistance: 316 stainless steel has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees. It is best not to use 316 stainless steel continuously in the range of 800-1575 degrees, but when 316 stainless steel is used continuously outside this temperature range, the stainless steel has good heat resistance.

Heat treatment: Annealing is carried out in the temperature range of 1850-2050 degrees, followed by rapid annealing and then rapid cooling. 316 stainless steel cannot be hardened by overheating.

Welding: 316 stainless steel has good welding performance. It can be welded by all standard welding methods. When welding, 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or electrodes can be used for welding according to the purpose. For the best corrosion resistance, the welded section of 316 stainless steel needs to be annealed after welding. If 316L stainless steel is used, no post-weld annealing is required.

Typical uses: heat exchangers for equipment for pulp and papermaking, dyeing equipment, film washing equipment, pipelines, and materials for the exterior of buildings in coastal areas.
