SS 321 stainless steel wire rods

SS321 is a titanium-stabilized stainless steel with good corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. It is commonly used in chemical, petroleum and pharmaceutical fields. SS321 has good resistance to radiation damage in the fields of nuclear fuel processing and nuclear waste treatment. The protective performance and aesthetics of the material can be improved through surface treatment methods such as coating and spraying to meet different engineering and design requirements. SS321 has good high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance in the manufacturing field of industrial furnaces such as high temperature furnaces and vacuum furnaces. SS321 stainless steel is a modified version of austenitic stainless steel with the following main features:

High temperature performance:
SS321 has excellent oxidation resistance, with an oxidation resistance temperature of up to 1600°F (about 871°C) 4.
It exhibits good creep strength and corrosion resistance in high temperature environments and is suitable for high temperature corrosion conditions of 400-900°C

Corrosion resistance:
By adding titanium, SS321 can reduce or prevent the sensitization of carbide precipitation during welding and when used in the temperature range of 425-815°C, thereby improving corrosion resistance.
It has good resistance to acid stress corrosion cracking and is suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical process equipment and heat exchangers

Mechanical properties:
The mechanical properties of SS321 vary depending on its form. Common forms include plates, bars, wires and tubes
Its plates, bars, wires and tubes exhibit good mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength and elongation in different application scenarios.

Application areas:
SS321 is widely used in the manufacture of equipment in high temperature environments such as oil refining equipment, pressure vessel pipelines, radiation superheaters, bellows, high temperature heat treatment equipment, etc.
Due to its good corrosion resistance and high temperature performance, SS321 is also used to manufacture piston engine manifolds, expansion joints, thermal oxidizers and other equipment

Processing performance:
SS321 has good formability and weldability, and is suitable for various processing techniques, such as cold processing, hot processing and welding, etc.
