321 stainless steel flat bar bars

321 stainless steel is an 18/8 austenitic stainless steel (304) stabilized with titanium. This grade will not corrode intergranularly when heated in the carbide precipitation temperature range of 425-850°C. 321 is used in applications up to about 900°C and combines high strength, resistance to oxidation scaling and phase stability with subsequent resistance to aqueous solution corrosion.

321 stainless steel flat bar features:

Corrosion resistance: 321 stainless steel flat bar has a relatively low carbon content, which makes it have good resistance to intergranular corrosion. Compared with 304 stainless steel, 321 stainless steel has better resistance to intergranular corrosion.

Welding performance: 321 stainless steel flat bar has very good welding performance and can be welded by all standard welding methods, which gives it greater flexibility in the manufacturing process.

Ductility and formability: 321 stainless steel flat bar also has good ductility and formability, which makes it easy to process into various shapes and structures.

High temperature strength: 321 stainless steel flat bar has outstanding high temperature strength and can withstand temperatures up to 1500°F without losing its mechanical properties, so it is suitable for applications in high temperature environments.

Non-magnetic: 321 stainless steel flat bar is non-magnetic in the solid solution state, is insensitive to ferrite, and can be used stably even in ferrite with an iron content greater than 18%.
