410 stainless steel flat bar bars

410 stainless steel is a stainless steel material with high hardness, high strength and good corrosion resistance. It has good strength and corrosion resistance at high or low temperatures. Therefore, it is often used to manufacture parts that require high strength and oxidation resistance. 410 stainless steel contains chromium, which can form a dense oxide film, thereby improving its corrosion resistance to a certain extent.

410 stainless steel flat bar is a martensitic stainless steel with the following characteristics:

High strength: 410 stainless steel flat bar has a body-centered cubic crystal structure due to its chromium content of 11% to 30%, which makes it have high strength and hardness.

Good corrosion resistance: Although 410 stainless steel is not as corrosion-resistant as austenitic stainless steel, it still has a certain ability to resist corrosion from the atmosphere, water vapor, water and oxidizing acids.

Good cold deformation performance: 410 stainless steel flat bar can be formed by cold drawing, cold bending and other processes, and has good dimensional stability.

Good shock absorption: This material can absorb more energy when it is impacted, so it is widely used in industries such as automobiles.

Moderate density: The density of 410 stainless steel is 7.65g/cm3, which is relatively light and helps to reduce the weight of the structure.

Limited weldability: Compared with other types of stainless steel, 410 stainless steel has poor weldability and is prone to cracks and other problems during welding.

Good heat treatment performance: 410 stainless steel can adjust its mechanical properties through heat treatment (such as quenching and tempering) to meet different usage requirements
