Corrosion resistance: 316l stainless steel angle steel has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, and has good corrosion resistance in the production process of pulp and papermaking. Heat resistance: 316l stainless steel has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees. In the range of 800-1575 degrees, it is best not to continuously use 316l stainless steel, but when 316l stainless steel is used continuously outside this temperature range, the stainless steel has good heat resistance.
Heat treatment: Solution annealing is carried out in the temperature range of 1010-1150 degrees, followed by rapid cooling. 316l stainless steel cannot be hardened by overheating.
Welding performance: 316l stainless steel has good welding performance. It can be welded by all standard welding methods. When welding, 316Cb, 316l or 309Cb stainless steel filler rods or welding rods can be used for welding according to the purpose.
Typical uses: heat exchangers for equipment for pulp and papermaking, dyeing equipment, film washing equipment, pipelines, materials for the exterior of buildings in coastal areas, and bracelets and cases of high-end watches.
Physical properties: The density of 316l stainless steel angle steel is 7.98g/cm³, the melting point is about 1370-1400℃, the thermal conductivity is 16.2W/m·K, and the linear expansion coefficient is 16.7μm/m·K.
Chemical composition: The main inspection indicators of the chemical composition of 316l stainless steel angle steel are Cr, Ni, and Mo. The content varies according to the grade, and the approximate range is carbon C: ≤0.030, silicon Si: ≤1.00, manganese Mn: ≤2.00, sulfur S: ≤0.030, phosphorus P: ≤0.045, chromium Cr: 16.00~18.00, nickel Ni: 10.00~14.00, molybdenum Mo: 2.00~3.00.
