316L stainless steel has good forming and processing performance, avoiding the defects of shape stability and poor elongation in the forming process of common low-carbon steel. In particular, deep drawing and deep processing will not form local necking and fracture, and can ensure a higher strength after cold forming with a certain amount of pressure reduction;
Stainless steel has the characteristics of small difference in mechanical properties in the longitudinal and transverse directions;
316L stainless steel has good fatigue resistance and stress corrosion resistance, and its fatigue life and low-temperature toughness are much better than those of ordinary low-alloy steel;
316L stainless steel has good weldability.
