Corrosion resistance
Excellent performance in chloride ion environments (such as seawater and chemical media), better than 304 stainless steel, especially suitable for marine engineering, coastal buildings and chemical equipment.
Heat resistance
Can be used intermittently below 1600℃ or continuously below 1700℃, and long-term operation should be avoided in the range of 800-1575℃.
Welding performance
Supports standard welding methods, but annealing treatment is required after welding to maintain corrosion resistance (316L type does not require this step).
Specification range
Outer diameter 6-1000mm, wall thickness 0.5-30mm, production process includes hot rolling piercing, cold rolling and solution heat treatment.
Typical applications
Used in offshore platforms, chemical equipment, medical equipment and food processing fields, replacing some galvanized steel pipes for building water supply systems.
